Designed by George Nelson in 1955 for Herman Miller, the Coconut Chair reflects mid-century modern innovation and playfulness. Inspired by a sliced coconut, its iconic triangular fiberglass shell cradles a single foam cushion, supported by a sleek steel frame. The chair remains a bold, sculptural symbol of comfort and creativity.
